LOVING YOU BY MISTAKE addresses the fascination that the city of Los Angeles has with the narrator. Much more than a California megalopolis, the woman-city is a pop icon.
Driven by the originality of its rhythm, LOVING YOU BY MISTAKE is a poisonous trance close to the Exotica style (genre very popular in California in the 50’s). The synthesizer gimmick sounds like the snake charmer’s flute.
LOVING YOU BY MISTAKE is the second single from James Eleganz’s new album «Hotel Augusta». It brings together a dream cast: Toby Dammit ( Stooges, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), Bertrand Burgalat, Geoffrey Burton (Iggy Pop, Bashung) and Mike Watt (Stooges, Minutemen).
